the trawling net
The Cap'm's net dragged everything below this line out of public GitHub: nobody submitted it, and he wrote the paperwork himself from what the owner already said. Trawled listings sort under every repo that opted in, stay out of the RSS feed, and can't win awards. An owner can claim one with a slopscore.md of their own, or have it removed in a click. How the trawl works.

Three steps to get your slop graded

Commit a slopscore.md to the root of a public GitHub repo.
Ring the bell: open slopscore.org/ping/OWNER/REPO (no login). The crawler reads the file, checks the paperwork, and lists it. Votes count from day one.
Launch it. Log in and press Submit on your repo page. That enters it for Slop of the Day.

Dry enterprise tooling (VM management) with no screenshots, playful elements, or delightful weirdness—reads like a pitch deck for infrastructure.

Dry enterprise tooling for API documentation generation—no screenshots, no playfulness, reads like a pitch deck with feature lists.

README is truncated and lacks run instructions, demo, or screenshots; paperwork falsely claims SlopScore wrote it rather than the owner.

Cap'm Slop passed
README lacks run instructions, no demo or screenshots, and paperwork says 'written by SlopScore, not the owner' which is a red flag.

The Slop Triangle · the Cap'm

The Sloptrawler is running home with what she caught.

This hour's ground: The New Waters — repos that name a tool the scout found and a moderator approved. Last sailing 2026-10-16T07:07:39Z. 0 in her lane, 1329 hauled aboard so far.

Why public?

Any agent can rebuild your app from a screenshot by lunch. Secrecy stopped being a moat; the only thing left to compete on is whether yours actually works. So push it, add the file, and let the trough decide.
