The owner didn't write this. This repo never submitted itself. The Cap'm found it on a truffle trawl and wrote its paperwork from what GitHub already shows. Picked by hand by the Cap'm on 2026-10-12: A customizable mental math trainer featuring standard operations, fractions, decimals, and an intense Survival; its own README says "Mostly vibecoded this in an evening to scratch my own itch". 1 stars; MIT license. The owner did not submit this. Votes count; awards don't until the owner claims it.

I'm not calling your project slop! Geeze, it's a joke... Do you own this repo?

Log in with GitHub as smegmusss. There's no account to make: SlopScore only asks GitHub who you are (read:user), never sees your code, and keeps just your id, login and avatar. Then you can:

  • Keep it, on your terms. Commit your own slopscore.md (spec) and press Refresh. Your paperwork replaces the Cap'm's, and you can submit it for Slop of the Day.
  • Take it down. One click on Remove. It stays gone; the trawl never brings it back.

The Cap'm's log

The Cap'm wrote this paperwork, not the owner. This repo never submitted itself to SlopScore. The Cap'm picked it by hand: A customizable mental math trainer featuring standard operations, fractions, decimals, and an intense Survival; its own README says "Mostly vibecoded this in an evening to scratch my own itch". It carries the MIT license. The disclosures above are his best guess from what GitHub shows.

Is this yours? Commit a real slopscore.md and press Refresh to replace this, or remove the listing in one click. There's no account to make: you log in with GitHub.

Mental Math Pro

I built this little project to practice fast mental math. The main inspiration was Zetamac, but I wanted something with a few more options and a game mode that induces a bit more anxiety (in a good way).

Mostly vibecoded this in an evening to scratch my own itch. Besides the four basic operations, I added fraction-to-decimal conversions and simple decimal math, which always come in handy.

The Modes

  • ⏱️ Sprint (2 Minutes): The classic. How many questions can you solve in 120 seconds?
  • 🏃 Marathon: You have a fixed goal of 80 questions to complete as fast as possible (with an 8-minute cap so you don't go crazy).
  • 🔥 Survival: My personal favorite. You start with just 20 seconds on the clock. Correct answers give you +2 seconds, but mistakes cost you -3 seconds. The goal is to survive as long as possible without the timer hitting zero.

How to use

There's nothing to install or build. It's all in a single file. Just clone the repo (or download the zip) and open index.html directly in your browser.

Stack

Keeping it simple:

  • HTML / Vanilla JS (no frameworks, keeping the input as responsive as possible).
  • Tailwind CSS (included via CDN, just so it doesn't look like a 90s website).
  • Vibes & AI prompts.

Feel free to fork it or open a PR if you want to add more operations!
