The owner didn't write this. This repo never submitted itself. The Cap'm found it on a truffle trawl and wrote its paperwork from what GitHub already shows. Picked by hand by the Cap'm on 2026-10-10: The Nintendo Switch as a usable hardware slider for Project Diva: Arcade Future Tone; its own README says "(vibecoded slop IDK) so if you know how, you can probably fix up the app's various issues". 1 stars; MIT license. The owner did not submit this. Votes count; awards don't until the owner claims it.

I'm not calling your project slop! Geeze, it's a joke... Do you own this repo?

Log in with GitHub as wrealpr. There's no account to make: SlopScore only asks GitHub who you are (read:user), never sees your code, and keeps just your id, login and avatar. Then you can:

  • Keep it, on your terms. Commit your own slopscore.md (spec) and press Refresh. Your paperwork replaces the Cap'm's, and you can submit it for Slop of the Day.
  • Take it down. One click on Remove. It stays gone; the trawl never brings it back.

The Cap'm's log

The Cap'm wrote this paperwork, not the owner. This repo never submitted itself to SlopScore. The Cap'm picked it by hand: The Nintendo Switch as a usable hardware slider for Project Diva: Arcade Future Tone; its own README says "(vibecoded slop IDK) so if you know how, you can probably fix up the app's various issues". It carries the MIT license. The disclosures above are his best guess from what GitHub shows.

Is this yours? Commit a real slopscore.md and press Refresh to replace this, or remove the listing in one click. There's no account to make: you log in with GitHub.

Problems

My PD Launcher now hangs no matter what settings are changed unless COM12 is held open. Hence the inclusion of keepalive.py in all releases. Although this isn't really a fix because slider inputs coming from keyboard assignments in keyconfig.ini don't work from here on out.

Also worth noting that the Switch app is in very poor condition. Most of the parsing input comes from the script I believe. (vibecoded slop IDK) so if you know how, you can probably fix up the app's various issues. Most notable problems are that the [+] to quit only works when the script is running on PC and the screen should/could dim but doesn't.

Turn your Nintendo Switch into a slider for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone

""Native"" integration via the .dva plugin is not as streamlined as it could be and is not recommended.

Main release is a Python script that polls the Nintendo Switch app with pyusb before sending back touch data. Data is then sent over a virtual COM port provided by com0com

Usage

  1. Install com0com and change the default numbers on Virtual Port Pair 1 to COM11 and COM12

  2. Install pip install pyusb and Zadig or winget install --id akeo.ie.Zadig -e

  3. Copy touch_capture.nro onto SD Card\Switch

  4. Open PD Loader\plugins\config.ini or Navigate to the "Options" tab in the launcher and either set Hardware_Slider = 1 or tick the box that says "Use hardware slider"

  5. Make sure Nintendo Switch is plugged in with .nro open beforehand, then run switch_slider_bridge.py

Confirm that switch_slider_bridge.py is next to slider_protocol.py at all times.

  1. Schnitzelclapped
Delightfully weird hardware hack that turns a Nintendo Switch into a Project Diva slider controller—exactly the kind of playful, niche slop that makes you smile.

Cap'm Slop, Princess and Crusoe read it and passed. Their reasons are on the balcony, with every other verdict.
