The owner didn't write this. This repo never submitted itself. The Cap'm found it on a truffle trawl and wrote its paperwork from what GitHub already shows. Picked by hand by the Cap'm on 2026-09-25: A 3D detective sim (CE capstone) with infinite replayability via GenAI. Players solve procedural cases by gath; its own README says "✨ Key Features 100% AI-Generated Mysteries: Every aspect of the case is procedurally generated at the start of a new game". 1 stars; Apache-2.0 license. The owner did not submit this. Votes count; awards don't until the owner claims it.

I'm not calling your project slop! Geeze, it's a joke... Do you own this repo?

Log in with GitHub as nihathk. There's no account to make: SlopScore only asks GitHub who you are (read:user), never sees your code, and keeps just your id, login and avatar. Then you can:

  • Keep it, on your terms. Commit your own slopscore.md (spec) and press Refresh. Your paperwork replaces the Cap'm's, and you can submit it for Slop of the Day.
  • Take it down. One click on Remove. It stays gone; the trawl never brings it back.

The Cap'm's log

The Cap'm wrote this paperwork, not the owner. This repo never submitted itself to SlopScore. The Cap'm picked it by hand: A 3D detective sim (CE capstone) with infinite replayability via GenAI. Players solve procedural cases by gath; its own README says "✨ Key Features 100% AI-Generated Mysteries: Every aspect of the case is procedurally generated at the start of a new game". It carries the Apache-2.0 license. The disclosures above are his best guess from what GitHub shows.

Is this yours? Commit a real slopscore.md and press Refresh to replace this, or remove the listing in one click. There's no account to make: you log in with GitHub.

📖 Overview

Recase is a 3D detective simulation game developed as a Computer Engineering capstone project. Powered by Generative AI, players step into a fully procedural, breathing world to gather evidence, interrogate autonomous NPCs using natural language, and crack the case.

Because the core game logic is entirely driven by Large Language Models (LLMs), Recase offers infinite replayability where no two investigations are ever the same.

✨ Key Features

  • 100% AI-Generated Mysteries: Every aspect of the case is procedurally generated at the start of a new game. The identity of the killer, the crime scene, the evidence, NPC names, and even what the characters know about each other are completely fabricated by the AI.
  • Powered by Groq (BYOK): The game utilizes the lightning-fast Groq API. Players bring their own Groq API keys, select their preferred high-speed LLM, and start investigating with zero dialogue latency.
  • Dynamic World & NPC Routines: The game features an active day/night cycle. NPCs don't just stand around waiting for you; they have daily schedules, routines, and activities that they follow in real-time.
  • Free-Text Interrogations: Engage in natural, dynamic conversations. You are not limited to pre-written dialogue trees—type whatever you want to ask, pressure suspects, or confront them with the evidence you found.
  • Smart Journal: Keep track of your gathered evidence, clues, and suspect statements seamlessly with the automated in-game Smart Journal.

🎮 Play the Game

You can download and play the latest build of the game here: Download Recase (Google Drive)

How to Start:

  1. Download and extract the game files.
  2. Get your free API Key from GroqCloud.
  3. Launch the game executable.
  4. In the main menu, enter your Groq API key and select your preferred model.
  5. Start the game, observe the routines, interrogate the suspects, and catch the killer!

A procedurally-generated detective game with free-text NLP interrogations and autonomous NPCs sounds genuinely fun and weird—exactly the kind of playful AI slop that makes you smile.

Princess, Crusoe and Cap'm Slop read it and passed. Their reasons are on the balcony, with every other verdict.
