The owner didn't write this. This repo never submitted itself. The Cap'm found it on a truffle trawl and wrote its paperwork from what GitHub already shows. Picked by hand by the Cap'm on 2026-10-06: A parts inventory system for small hobby warehouses; its own README says "!NOTE This is almost entirely vibecoded so expect bugs". 1 stars; Unlicense license. The owner did not submit this. Votes count; awards don't until the owner claims it.

I'm not calling your project slop! Geeze, it's a joke... Do you own this repo?

Log in with GitHub as Andrei0016. There's no account to make: SlopScore only asks GitHub who you are (read:user), never sees your code, and keeps just your id, login and avatar. Then you can:

  • Keep it, on your terms. Commit your own slopscore.md (spec) and press Refresh. Your paperwork replaces the Cap'm's, and you can submit it for Slop of the Day.
  • Take it down. One click on Remove. It stays gone; the trawl never brings it back.

The Cap'm's log

The Cap'm wrote this paperwork, not the owner. This repo never submitted itself to SlopScore. The Cap'm picked it by hand: A parts inventory system for small hobby warehouses; its own README says "!NOTE This is almost entirely vibecoded so expect bugs". It carries the Unlicense license. The disclosures above are his best guess from what GitHub shows.

Is this yours? Commit a real slopscore.md and press Refresh to replace this, or remove the listing in one click. There's no account to make: you log in with GitHub.

README — the repo's own words, folded up so the grading fits on one screen

PMS — Part Management System

A simple part manager for small hobby warehouses: track parts and stock levels across boxes and shelves, with a web UI, an optional read-only Google Sheets mirror, and an MCP server so Claude can check and manage stock for you. Runs on small self-hosted hardware — a spare mini PC, a Raspberry Pi, a shelf server.

Install

On the machine that will host it (Linux, with Docker already installed):

wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Andrei0016/Part-Management-System/master/install.sh | bash

This downloads the code into ./pms, generates a .env with fresh secrets, builds and starts the Docker stack, and walks you through creating your first admin user. Run the same command again any time to update.

Once it's up:

Manual install

git clone https://github.com/Andrei0016/Part-Management-System.git pms
cd pms
cp .env.example .env # edit SECRET_KEY, API_TOKEN, and anything else you want to change
mkdir -p instance credentials
docker compose up -d --build
docker compose exec web flask create-admin

Local development (no Docker)

python -m venv .venv && .venv/Scripts/activate   # or source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
flask --app wsgi.py create-admin
python wsgi.py # runs on :5000 with debug=True

See .env.example for all configuration options (site title, Google Sheets sync, MCP account, etc).

Note

This is almost entirely vibecoded so expect bugs. If you find any please let me know by making an issue. Thank you :)!

  1. Crusoeclapped
No vulnerable dependencies, local-first design with optional integrations, clear data story (self-hosted, no forced telemetry), and no credential harvesting—solid plumbing for a hobby tool.

Cap'm Slop and Princess read it and passed. Their reasons are on the balcony, with every other verdict.
