The owner didn't write this. This repo never submitted itself. The Cap'm found it on a truffle trawl and wrote its paperwork from what GitHub already shows. Picked by hand by the Cap'm on 2026-09-13: 3D chibi desktop pet from AI-generated character sheets - Shimeji-style, window-as-platform, zero-dependency r; its own README says "Repository Layout License MIT (LICENSE) · Character art generated with AI, copyright IvenKooLab". 1 stars; MIT license. The owner did not submit this. Votes count; awards don't until the owner claims it.

I'm not calling your project slop! Geeze, it's a joke... Do you own this repo?

Log in with GitHub as IvenKooLab. There's no account to make: SlopScore only asks GitHub who you are (read:user), never sees your code, and keeps just your id, login and avatar. Then you can:

  • Keep it, on your terms. Commit your own slopscore.md (spec) and press Refresh. Your paperwork replaces the Cap'm's, and you can submit it for Slop of the Day.
  • Take it down. One click on Remove. It stays gone; the trawl never brings it back.

The Cap'm's log

The Cap'm wrote this paperwork, not the owner. This repo never submitted itself to SlopScore. The Cap'm picked it by hand: 3D chibi desktop pet from AI-generated character sheets - Shimeji-style, window-as-platform, zero-dependency r; its own README says "Repository Layout License MIT (LICENSE) · Character art generated with AI, copyright IvenKooLab". It carries the MIT license. The disclosures above are his best guess from what GitHub shows.

Iven Pet 🐾 · 3D Chibi Desktop Pet

License: MIT Platform Runtime

A Shimeji-style Windows desktop pet built from AI-generated 3D character sheets. She walks along your taskbar, stands on top of your application windows, climbs down when you close them — and does a little clapperboard cheer when you double-click her.

English | 简体中文

Part of the IvenKooLab IP lab series. Want to turn your character into a desktop pet? Follow docs/SOP-IP角色桌宠化.md (Chinese, with checklist).

Features

  • Smooth walking — procedural 24-phase walk gait from a single side view (cosine-continuous, zero ghosting), with a front-facing turn-around pause
  • ~60 fps rendering — fixed 50 ms logic steps + wall-clock animation phase and sub-pixel position interpolation (no more 20 fps stepping)
  • Windows are platforms — she walks on top of your app windows, turns at edges (or falls off), and drops when you close the window
  • Idle breathing · grab struggle · gravity fall · landing squash · sleep
  • Interactions: click = bounce, double-click = happy, right-click menu (clapperboard cheer / 360° spin / fast walk / shy / sleep)
  • Zero third-party dependencies at runtime — pure Python standard library (tkinter)

Quick Start

Option A — ready-to-run: grab IvenPet.exe (≈11 MB) from Releases, drop it on your desktop, double-click.

Option B — from source:

python pet.py # Windows + Python 3.8+ (tkinter bundled), nothing else to install

Right-click the pet for the menu; drag her anywhere; double-click her for a reaction. Close her via right-click menu → 退出 (Exit).

Build Your Own IP Pet

The whole pipeline is documented as a step-by-step SOP: generate character sheets with your favorite AI image tool → AI matting → animation frame synthesis → automated QA → PyInstaller packaging.

See docs/SOP-IP角色桌宠化.md and the new-IP checklist inside.

tools\build_exe.bat # rebuilds dist\IvenPet.exe (needs pyinstaller)
